Deposit & Cancellation Policy

Extended Cancer Retreats (Two or more days in length)

The deposit policy was put into place due to many last minute cancellations by registered participants, which contribute to increased staff time and administrative costs, and make it very difficult for those on the waiting list to make last minute plans to attend. Once you have attended a retreat, or cancelled within the parameters above, you will be contacted post-retreat and given the option to have your check or credit card charge slip shredded, returned to you or donated to support the cancer program.
  • We ask each applicant to send in a $100 check with their application (Visa/Mastercard/Discover/American Express charges can be called in if you prefer)
  • This deposit WILL NOT BE PROCESSED unless you cancel less than 30 days in advance of a retreat where you have a confirmed space on the roster.
  • You will receive your deposit back if you have a medical or family emergency that prevents attendance.

One or two day Wellness Program Workshops or Retreats

  • Your registration is not considered confirmed, and a space in the retreat cannot be guaranteed, until you have paid for the workshop in full prior to the retreat date.
  • If you cancel your reservation more than two weeks in advance of the scheduled program, Harmony Hill will retain a $25 cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel two weeks or less before the start of the scheduled program, Harmony Hill will retain 50% of the program registration fee as cancellation fee. Any balance paid above that amount can either be refunded to you or can be applied toward the registration fee for another event within the same calendar year.

Extended Harmony Hill Wellness Retreats or Workshops (Three or more days in length):

  • Deposit:  Minimum $200 deposit is required to hold your space.
  • The balance of the program tuition is due two weeks prior to the retreat. 
  • Payment arrangements may be available; contact the Program Department at Harmony Hill.   
  • If you cancel six weeks or more prior to the retreat:  $100 administrative fee will apply against deposits made. 
  • If you cancel less than six weeks prior to the retreat:  $200 administrative fee will apply against deposits made.
