Program schedule: 4:00 pm Day 1 through 2:00 pm Day 3
With the increasing demands of an ever more complex health system, it can be easy to forget why we became nurses. It is no wonder that nurse retention is a chief concern for almost every medical facility. The demand for skilled nurses is high and will only continue to rise with our aging population. Yet the appreciation and honoring of our sacred art is so far removed from a nurse’s daily work experience. This is why many of us no longer remember why we chose to become nurses to begin with.
Through the power of story and sharing, remembering again the purpose that set us on this path, we will explore the “Wisdom of Nursing” concepts of loving kindness, grace, compassion, quiet dignity and generosity of spirit. Embracing wisdom within a holistic framework is a path to healing our profession and ourselves. You are invited to join a supportive circle of nurses in the deeply nurturing environment of Harmony Hill.
It’s time to remember… and embrace the wisdom of nursing.
Program Tuition: $395 per person, includes meals, lodging, and 7.3 CNE credits*
