4th Annual Survivorship Fair & Open House

Harmony Hill Retreat Center will host the 4th Annual Survivorship Fair and Open House at their Union campus. This FREE event is open to anyone seeking information on cancer survivorship resources and tools, as well as to anyone who is interested in learning more about cancer prevention, healthy living and wellness.

The Survivorship Fair will feature presentations on various topics related to cancer survivorship and wellness.  We are especially proud to announce that our Keynote Speaker for this event will be Mark Nepo.  Mark is the author of The Book of Awakening as well as several other inspirational books.  He has also been interviewed by Oprah Winfrey and was featured on Oprah’s Ultimate Favorite Things 2010.  "Mark Nepo is a poet," Oprah says. "He's an author and a philosopher and has been through two different cancers. So when he writes, he writes purely from the heart.”  We believe Mark Nepo’s journey fits perfectly with our mission to transform the lives of those affected by cancer and inspire healthy living for all.

Other workshop offerings include Outdoor Tai Ji, Aquaponics, Nutrition, Garden Tours and Yoga.  Come enjoy the stunning gardens and grounds, as well as Harmony Hill’s three labyrinths, and ongoing expressive arts throughout the day on the veranda of the Elmer and Katharine Nordstrom Great Hall.  There will also be a free whole foods lunch served for the first 120 registered attendees.  Participants will leave the event with information and tools that will empower them in making decisions that can improve the quality of their health.
