GRIEF AND LOSS RETREAT
Leonie Wolf/Linda Covert
June 11-13, 2010
11 AM arrival on Friday; departure at 4 PM on Sunday

This retreat is for anyone who feels they would benefit from sharing with others who have dealt with the loss of a loved one to cancer, and is designed to help participants cope with the physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges that come with that loss.

This three day retreat will consist of two small groups of 10 participants who will spend time together for community activities such as yoga, meals, and opening and closing circles, and then divide into their own small groups depending on the nature of their loss.

For those who have lost a spouse or life partner to cancer, Leonie Wolf is facilitating one of the two groups, with a program she created specifically to address this type of profound loss, “Passionate Sadness.”

For those who have lost someone they care for to cancer, other than a spouse, whether a family member, friend or caregiver, Linda Covert will be facilitating the small group sessions with a program called The “Language of Loss.”

Location
All retreats are held at Harmony Hill's twelve-acre facility on beautiful Hood Canal in western Washington State. Participants are treated to delicious whole-foods meals, and opportunities for relaxation and renewal in a tranquil retreat environment of gardens, nature trails, and spectacular mountain and water views.

Harmony Hill is a place to retreat from the stresses of daily life and have time to focus on yourself. For many it is a chance to be nurtured, in body, mind, and spirit, in a peaceful and comforting environment. For others it is an opportunity to explore complimentary techniques that can be taken home as a toolkit for their continued journey.

About Our Cancer Programs
Harmony Hill cancer programs are designed to serve as supportive adjuncts to medical treatment, and do not provide medical care.

Harmony Hill's Cancer Program is supported in part by grants. The generosity of many individual donors is also vital to the support for this program.
