Inherent to the art & practice of nursing is the wisdom of the heart and the hands. This wisdom is a constant as we work in a health
care system that continues to get more complex. Embracing wisdom within a holistic framework is a path to healing our profession and ourselves. You are invited to join a supportive
circle of nurses in the deeply nurturing environment of Harmony Hill.
At this retreat we will honor the work of our heart and hands. We will reflect on the nurse as the healing environment. We will explore
the 'Wisdom of Nursing' concepts of: loving, kindness, grace, compassion, quiet dignity and generosity of spirit. We will discuss the
universal principals found in Deepak Chopra's book 'The Seven Spiritual Laws' and how they can support the concepts of Holistic
Nursing.
We will laugh & tell stories. You will be heard. From the art of retreat you will feel refreshed, rested, inspired & supported. We will
most likely eat some chocolate. And you may find a quiet remembering of the heart and spirit of being a nurse. Two nights lodging at
Harmony Hill and six delicious healthy meals are included.
