Move in harmony! Rejuvenate and refresh your sense of well-being by attending one or more of this series of one-day mini-retreats. Plus, you can extend your stay with some personal retreat time by arriving Friday afternoon or staying over Saturday night - or both!

These programs are open to everyone. No prior experience needed to participate in any of our yoga programs.

The practice of yoga and meditation awakens and replenishes the vital life force within us. This energy "unties our knots," soothes our tired minds, and eases the tensions created by living a life full of "doing" and of consistently placing other's needs ahead of our own.

This day of practice will be a gentle and deeply nourishing way to re-align with, and celebrate, our most vital, glorious and open-hearted selves.

Using the deliciously relaxing practices of restoratives, yin yoga, and mindfulness meditation, the day will be a time of abundant comfort, self-love, and self-care. While in traditional yoga postures, we will be guided-through words, poetry and silence-to a "deeper deep," a place of quiet, softness, and profound peacefulness.

Join Melissa for a day of exploring the sacred and healing uses of labyrinths. Through a combination of presentations and contemplative time in the Hill's labyrinths, you'll learn how to use labyrinths for deepening your spiritual life, enhancing healing, increasing creativity, sharpening intuition, and connecting with new goals and dreams.

Autographed copies of Melissa's book, Exploring the Labyrinth, are available here in our online store, and will also be available at the workshop.


The Joy of Yoga: Balancing Yin & Yang with Denise Carrico, BFA, RYT

In the context of traditional yoga practices, Yin energy manifests in stillness, in coolness, in meditation, and in flexibility. Yang energy is expressed through movement, through heat, through the physical postures (asana) & through strength.

In this one-day program, we will enjoy a morning of more active (Yang) practice, complemented by an afternoon of quieter, more meditative (Yin) practice, thereby balancing the two aspects of Yin & Yang -- moon & sun, relaxation & action, dark & light -- within our own selves.

Join us in experiencing the profound effects of harmony & balance through the practice of yoga. This workshop is appropriate for all levels of experience & interest.
