Metastatic Cancer Retreat – December 11-13
Dec 11 – 13, 2018
This three-day retreat offers individuals affected by a metastatic cancer a special opportunity to have community with others who are also experiencing a metastatic condition. Individuals with non-metastatic conditions are welcomed to apply for our General Cancer Retreats.
Through group sessions and activities such as yoga, meditation, guided imagery, poetry, and art, our compassionate faculty provides self-care tools and practical resources to help facilitate healing and well-being. Thanks to our generous donors, lodging, meals and curriculum are provided at no cost.
A loved one or companion may attend this retreat. The retreat group of about 20 individuals participates in many activities together; smaller support groups encourage personal sharing. Participants and companions participate together in the majority of activities.
Lodging is onsite in fully furnished rooms and most rooms are double occupancy. If you attend with a companion, you will share a room. Some single rooms are available, but are either upstairs or ADA accessible and assigned based on need. You will enjoy delicious, whole-foods meals, with opportunities for relaxation and renewal in a tranquil environment of gardens, trails, and spectacular views.
Upon receipt of the completed application form (links below) and the $25 application fee, your application process will be complete. The fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee placement into a retreat. If the application fee poses a financial burden, please contact us prior to completing an application.
