Frequently Asked Questions

How many beds does HH have? We have 13 double occupancy rooms and seven private rooms, for a total of 20 rooms with a total of 33 beds.

Does each room have a private bath? Most of our rooms have shared baths, eight have private baths.

What time is check out? At the end of your retreat, unless otherwise specified.

Is there Wi-Fi? Yes, we have Wi-Fi in all guest buildings. There is also a guest computer in the Main Lodge.

Are towels and linens provided? Yes, we provide linens and towels are in each bathroom. We also have hairdryers available for guest use.

What should I bring? Due to our unpredictable Northwest weather, as well as our graveled parking lots and other uneven surfaces, we recommend that all guests bring a pair of comfortable walking shoes with good tread. This will also be helpful for hiking our trails. Also, a jacket, comfortable layered clothing and an umbrella are recommended.

Are pets allowed in the guest areas? Due to the fact that many of our guests have allergies to animals, we have a no-pet policy on the grounds and in the buildings. Exceptions will be made if you have a condition that requires you to be accompanied by a service animal. Please notify Guest Services in advance.

Should I bring bottled water? We are blessed with tap water of bottling quality.

Is there an area that I can prepare my own food? The main kitchen in the Harmony Hill Lodge is a commercial kitchen, and so is not open for guests to use or occupy during retreats. As such, we ask that you please do not help yourself to any of the food that is in the Harmony Hill commercial kitchen. Guests have access to kitchenette areas with guest accessible refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee/tea stations.

Where do I go when I arrive? If you have not received any specific directions from your group leader about where to meet, please stop in at the office to find out your group’s location and the best place to park and unload

How do I get there? Driving directions and a site map may be found at www.harmonyhill.org. We are located approximately 2 hours from Seattle, 1½ hours from Tacoma, 45 minutes from Bremerton or Olympia and 20 minutes from Shelton. Driving time is relative and depends on traffic and road conditions.
