Renewal Retreat for Nurses – with 13 CNEs
“Sacred space is a felt experience from the moment you arrive at Harmony Hill; then you meet the staff, eat the food, walk the labyrinths and go home energized with healing in the process.” ~ Terry, RN
Join a community of nurses who embrace the value of self-care to sustain a caring presence and greater longevity in their practice all while earning 13 CNEs! Relax and unwind in nature’s splendor and take this time to slow down, reset, and savor the sweeter moments of the season. Harmony Hill is a sacred place where time moves a bit slower and life feels a little simpler.
We invite you to join us at Harmony Hill for a 2-day Renewal Retreat for Nurses where we offer you the opportunity to step out of the ordinary time into a safe and non-judgmental space where we can explore our own healing. As we meet with other nurses in a circle, we are called to speak with intention and listen with attention as we explore our own calling and the strengths and barriers to bring us to joy.
In our Nurse Renewal Retreats, the participants will gather in a safe and supportive environment, on-site at the Harmony Hill campus. Nurses will have a time and place where they can step back, process what they’ve been through, and heal from any mental and emotional trauma. Our experienced facilitators, themselves healthcare professionals, will also teach participants specific tools for mental and emotional self-care, mindfulness, and how to respond nimbly and effectively to the situation presented by a particular moment. By providing nurses the opportunity to share their stories, connect with others, and learn specific skills for maintaining well-being, our programs will help them develop their individual mental and emotional resilience. Our retreats will also enhance participants’ ability to respond to the demands of their workplace quickly, mindfully, and intelligently, and, in so doing, will contribute to the effective, patient-centered care provided by hospitals and clinics.
Between sessions, you will have plenty of time to explore the breathtaking brilliance of Harmony Hill’s gardens, take a meditative walk in the labyrinth, hike the forest trails, or sit back and relax in peaceful tranquility overlooking the Hood Canal. The culinary team at Harmony Hill makes the most of the region’s year-round bounty with locally sourced meals. They work closely with growers and shop at local farmer’s markets to ensure that natural ingredients are always offered at the peak of freshness. Many dishes are seasoned with the chefs’ estate-grown herbs and the lavender plants growing around the property. Adding to your culinary experience are our homemade bread and desserts, made fresh daily by our in-house baker.
