Weekly Dose of Well-Being – Fresh Green Juice

Now, more than ever is a time when our bodies crave pure nutrition and cellular nourishment. Sustain energy straight from the source with slow, real food. Drink to your health and vitality with this juicy elixir every morning. Source organic vegetables right from the garden or support your local farm or grocery. I use a Breville juicer and source the following organic ingredients.

Recipe:

–         1-2 bunches celery
–         1 bunch cilantro
–         2 cups power greens: kale, spinach, etc
–         1 cucumber
–         1 lemon
–         1 carrot
–         1 small green apple
–         3 cloves garlic
–         1 finger ginger
–         1 finger turmeric (An incredible anti-inflammatory! But consuming too much of this great thing, curcumin, can be dangerous and/or interfere with medications, blood clotting and shouldn’t be used pre/post-surgery. So please consult your medical professional before introducing this to your diet.)
–         5 dashes of black pepper (In the finished product to help the body absorb turmeric)
